Hits Speciallita 389

Happy Wednesday Everyone.. (although it feels like Tuesday because of the holiday).  I have a pretty brown glitter I purchased from Ninja Polish a few weeks back.  I've been waiting for this one to be back in stock, and as soon as it was, I snatched it up.  I know a lot of people aren't a fan of browns, but I really love a rich deep chocolate brown and Hits Speciallita 389 was the first dark brown glitter to catch my eye..

Hits Speciallita 389:

Holy Mother of Glitter!!  Pictured above is two thick coats of 389 on it's own followed by two coats of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri.  I should have used a dark brown base with this one so I didn't have to use so much polish because the bottle is tiny.  I had to add another coat of Insta-Dri after 24 hours as 389 is topcoat hungry.  I wore this polish for three days with barely any tip wear.  I got a lot of compliments on it also, but holy smokes, it was hard to remove!!  I used the foil method and let these babies soak for about 15 minutes.  I do love the dark brown and reddish glitter in 389.  It's a great Autumn polish!!

**Enjoy your day :) **

Hits No Olimpo Dionisio

Happy Weekend!  Here's a quickie I scheduled on Thursday before I left for New Orleans..  So, I'll be posting this Saturday night.. who knows what kind of shape I'll be in!  :)

I found these swatches of Hits Dionisio from a few months ago.  I don't know why I never posted them because this is such a pretty holo..

Hits Dionisio:

Dionisio is such a gorgeous blurple holo.  I think I didn't post this one earlier because I was disappointed the holo effect didn't show up too great in my pics.  Regardless, it's gorgeous and I love it and I'll wear it a zillion times!!  Now, back to Bourbon Street and my beads...  ;)

HITS Mari Moon.. Unconventional

Happy Monday Everyone!!  I hope you all had a great weekend!! I just received a few HITS polishes I ordered in a group-buy and wanted to share my first Mari Moon with you!  It's called Unconventional and it's a pretty multichorme polish.  Unconventional has beautiful shades of red, blue and some purple..

Unconventional:

The final result is really pretty, but the brush, the formula, and the bottle are all enough to convince me not to buy any more Mari Moons.  The brush is thick and wonky like a broom.  The formula is thick and gummy (above is three coats) and it takes forever to dry.  The bottle is tiny and the label is right on the handle, so as I would paint my nails, the lettering on the label would disappear :(  Ugh..

Do you have any Mari Moons?  What do you think of them?

Hits No Olimpo... Ares

The sun is shining and I have a beautiful holographic polish to show you guys today.  This brand is new to me. Hits Speciallita' No Olimpo is a Brazilian Collection of 13 different holographic polishes.  Each polish is named after Greek Gods or Goddesses.  I was lucky enough to acquire 2 of the 13 polishes.  Today I have Ares to share with you:

All pictures posted were taken in direct sunlight.  This color is so beautiful.  Ares is a candy-apple red that shines so beautifully in the sun!  Glancing at my nails now that I'm indoors, Ares looks a bit reddish-coral. Ares is so glossy.. no topcoat was needed!

I love everything about this polish (except the bottle is small 6 ml--reminds me of lipgloss).  Application was a breeze and only two coats were needed to reach full opacity.  I was lucky enough snag Ares from a friend who happened to have some extras.  You can purchase this collection online at Llarowe for $10 each

Have a great day/evening! :)
