DIFFERENT Dimension Santa Baby Collection

Happy Tuesday and Happy Election Day to everyone in the US!!  Get out and vote.. it's gonna be a close one!!

Today I have three polishes from DIFFERENT Dimension's "Santa Baby" line.  Each polish name is part of a lyric from the Christmas song, "Santa Baby." (Cute concept :))..

I'll Wait Up for You Dear:

I'll Wait Up for You Dear is a classic Christmas glitter... plain & simple green and red glitter in a clear base. A classic.  The formula is fantastic.  The glitter consistency is dense, so you can wear I'll Wait Up for You Dear alone with two coats (on pinkie and index) or as a topper with one coat.  I have one coat over Barry M Mint Green on my ring finger and one coat over Venique Wingtip White on my middle finger.  Each finger is topped off with a coat of topcoat. I love IWUFYD over the mint.. it looks like a Christmas Cookie!!

I've Been an Awful Good Girl:

I've Been an Awful Good Girl is so pretty and girly.  The formula is also wonderful with this one!!  The white base contains pink shimmer and lavender & pink glitter scattered throughout.  I used two coats followed by topcoat in the above pics.  Crelly based polishes are my favorite, so needless to say.. I love this!!

Sign Your 'X' on the Line:

Sign Your 'X' on the Line is a gorgeous gold and silver topper!  It's a great alternative to all those more expensive real gold toppers that are so popular right now, plus this one has the gold AND silver all in one!  I have two coats over Bettina Onix, Venique Wingtip White and China Glaze Poinsettia followed by topcoat in the the above pics. (sidenote: Poinsettia stains SOOO badly).  I really like Sign Your 'X' on the Line over white and the mix of the gold flakies and silver shards is perfect!  I think I'll end up wearing this to a Holiday Party.  :)

**Each and every polish I have from DIFFERENT Dimension is remarkable.  The consistency of each polish is always awesome, application is always easy and the glitter ratio always seems "just right."  If you're thinking of purchasing some Holiday Indies, I'd definitely pick up some from the Santa Baby Collection!**

DIFFERENT Dimension Part 3

Happy Monday Everyone!  Today I have the last four polishes I received from Missi at DIFFERENT Dimension for swatching and review.  I received twelve polishes total.. and I really loved each one!!  The remaining four I'm showing you today are named after characters from Pretty Little Liars.. (sorry, I don't watch the show, but these polishes are pretty..)

Hanna:

Hanna contains a sheer lilac base packed with small magenta, white and periwinkle glitter.  Hanna almost looks patriotic.. the base almost looks blue and the glitters could pass for red, white, and blue.  I really like the color combo with Hanna.  Pictured above is two coats followed by topcoat.

Emily:

Emily has the exact same formula as Hanna except with a baby blue sheer base and white, blue, and light green glitter.  I have two coats of Emily followed by topcoat in the above pictures.  Visible nail line is a bit more apparent with Emily.  Maybe next time I'll layer it over a light blue base.

Spencer:
direct sunlight

Artificial light
Spencer is sooo incredibly gorgeous!!!  The red base is more jelly-like than Hanna and Emily and... the black, silver and HOLO glitters are completely amazing!!  If you love reds and holos, Spencer is definitely for you!!  Luckily the sun popped out for a few minutes and I was able to capture Spencer in direct sunlight.. it's so stunning.  Again, I have two coats, then topcoat.

Aria:
direct sunlight

artificial light
Aria is a really pretty purple shifting top coat (I guess you could wear it alone).  I have two coats of Aria over black followed by topcoat in the above pics.  Aria is beautiful in direct sun.  You can see tiny blue and pink specks.  This one would look awesome over so many bases.. the possibilities are endless!

**Ok, so I've swatched twelve polishes from DIFFERENT Dimension and had ZERO problems what-so-ever!!  I highly recommend any polish from DIFFERENT Dimension!!  You can still take advantage of my 20% OFF code CAPTIVATINGCLAWS20 until Oct 17th  here at DIFFERENT Dimension on Etsy.  Also, don't forget to like DIFFERENT Dimension here on facebook.**

DIFFERENT Dimension Part 2

Happy Monday Everyone!!  Here is my second review of DIFFERENT Dimension polishes.  You can see Part 1 here.  And... I'll be back with Part 3 soon.  On to the photos..

Warm Fuzzies:

Whoa.... This is completely gorgeous!!  I love chocolate browns... add holo to the brown and you have Warm Fuzzies.  I'm totally in love with this polish.  It's the prettiest brown holo I own.  Application was a breeze... all you need it two coats.  I have this one in my drawer entitled "Save for a Sunny Day." :)

Scarlet & Grey:

Missi, the creator of DIFFERENT Dimension, and I are both from Ohio.  Scarlet & Grey was made in honor of THE OHIO STATE BUCKEYES (did you see their awesome win over Nebraska this weekend??)  Anyway, Missi thought it was only appropriate to send me Scarlet & Grey to review.  It has a grey crelly (creme/jelly) base with micro white and red glitter & white and red hex glitters.  Scarlet & Grey is the perfect interpretation of The Ohio State!  Pictured above is two coats followed by topcoat.  I should have added a second coat of topcoat because Scarlet & Grey was still a tad gritty after one coat.

Un-teal We Meet Again:

Un-teal We Meet Again is packed full of blue and teal glitter & micro holo (which I love) glitter.  I chose to layer one coat of Un-teal We Meet Again over China Glaze Aquadelic followed by one coat of top coat.  Un-teal We Meet Again would look great on it's own with three coats.  Another beauty with awesome formula!!

Doppelganger:

Doppelganger is listed as having a grey jelly base.  I can see a hint of purple too.  Doppelganger has mostly pink glitters, but I really love the larger white hexes (there's two on the ring finger).  I layered two coats of Doppelganger over OPI Steady As She Rose followed by one coat of topcoat in the above pics.

**I've swatched eight polishes from DIFFERENT Dimension and haven't ran in to any problematic formulas.. or any problems at all.  I think Missi, the creator, knows her stuff and is an excellent "Mixologist".  I have four more polishes to review and I can't wait.  They're all remarkable!!**

DIFFERENT Dimension Part 1

Hey Everyone!!  I have some really great indies to share with you today from a shop on Etsy called DIFFERENT Dimension.  Missi, the shop owner, has created some really amazing polishes.  The first two polishes I'm posting are for really great causes.. take a look..(also, there's a 20% off code at the bottom of the page!)..

Fight Like A Girl:

Here's what Missi writes about Fight Like a Girl: "A friend of a friend, Rachael (whom I have never personally met yet), on Aug 13, 2012 was diagnosed with Myofibroblastic Sarcoma (one of the RAREST forms of Cancer - Sarcoma's account for only 1% of ALL cancers) after being misdiagnosed over 2 years prior. She has 4 children and needs help paying for medical bills, doctor's visits, etc... 50% of the profits from this polish will go directly to her to help pay for all those expenses!"
Fight Like a Girl is a beautiful polish for a beautiful cause.  Of course I chose to layer it over pink (OPI Sparrow Me the Drama).  Pictured above is just one coat of Fight Like a Girl followed by topcoat.  I love this polish.. it's full of silver holo, magenta, aqua and black small hex glitter in a clear base.

No More:

No More is another gorgeous polish for a great cause.  October is National Domestic Violence Awareness month.  Missi says this about No More: "This beautiful purple glitter bomb was made so to help and raise awareness - 50% of the proceeds from this polish will go to a women's shelter in my hometown - Someplace Safe (http://www.someplacesafe.org/) they helped me when I needed it and now I'm hopeful I will be able to help them! This polish will ONLY be available until NOV 1!!"
No More is a gorgeous glitter topper with blue and purple glitters and scattered holo micro glitter in a clear base.  I have one coat of No More over OPI Steady As She Rose followed by topcoat.. This one has a flawless formula also!!

Fall Me Maybe:

Fall Me Maybe is such a great Fall polish!!  I love the name and I love the polish!!  Fall Me Maybe is full of  red, copper and brown glitter in a clear base.  I had the hardest time trying to figure out which polish to layer this over... I ultimately decided on Zoya Pippa.  I really don't own a nice "fall yellow."  Any suggestions?  I do like this over Pippa.. pictured above is one coat followed by topcoat.

rake, crunch, Jump!:

rake, crunch, Jump! is another great polish for fall.  This one is full of copper and gold glitters in a clear base... it's like a leaf-pile on my nails!!  The glitter ratio is perfect and only one coat was needed once again. I have rake, crunch, Jump! over OPI Did You Ear About Van Gogh? followed by topcoat.

**Each of these polishes is wonderful!!  They all apply flawlessly with one coat.  You could wear them on their own with a few coats if that's your preference.  After one coat of topcoat each polish was smooth to the touch which is rare with glitters this dense.  I love each of these and that's great because I have 8 MORE to share with you in upcoming posts!!**
