Today I have two of the three Zoya Jellies from the Blogger Collection by Birchbox. This collection is still available for $22 (shipping included). I love a good jelly and I'm happy that Zoya came out with these beauties!! First up is Zoya Coraline, alone and used in a jelly sandwich..
Zoya Coraline
Coraline is a warm juicy tangerine jelly inspired by Eleventh Gorgeous. I usually am not an "orange person," but this citurs-y orange really caught my eye. Jellys really aren't meant to wear alone (unless you like sheer polishes). They are more of a "layering polish", but after four generous coats, Coraline looks bright and shiny on her own. :)
Throw in a layer of Lynnderella One Nutty Fruitcake, and you have a gorgeous jelly sandwich:
So, the above combo goes something like this: Four generous coats of Coraline, allow to completely dry, and add a generous coat of Lynnderella One Nutty Fruitcake, then two more thin coats of Coraline. If you were using a regular creme, this would be a thick mess, but these new jellys are sheer and gorgeous!!
Zoya Kate:
Zoya Kate is a pinkish grapefruit inspired by The Small Things. Gorgeous!! Again, this is four generous coats. This color screams: "Summer!!" I love this fruity shade of pink. :)
Zoya Kate and Nubar White and Black Polka Dots make another Jelly Sandwich:
I really like this combo too... It reminds me of salt and pepper. For this combo I used four generous coats of Zoya Kate, one coat of Nubar White Polka Dots & one coat of Nubar Black Polka Dots, then I topped it off with another thick coat of Kate.
Both of these polishes are pretty and versatile and are still available here. :)
