SpaRitual Ripple Effect and Lynnderella LavenDear!

Hey Everyone!!  Hope you all had a good weekend!  I did... I received an awesome nail mail package full of Lynnderellas!!  Yay!!  The new Lynnderellas are part of a collection called "Lovely is as Lovely Does."  I'm glad I can share at least one of these colors with you before Valentine's Day seeing they all have Valentine's/Love inspired names and colors.  I also just received SpaRitual's Spring Collection which contains some beautiful colors also.  Two colors from these collection seemed to match up really well... Ripple Effect and LavenDear, so I will share them with you today! :)

SpaRitual Ripple Effect:
Ripple Effect- direct light

Ripple Effect- with flash

Ripple Effect- indirect light
Ripple Effect is so pretty.  It's a deep lilac creme.  It's not too light and not too dark.  This formula is awesome.  I used two coats for full coverage.  It's a happy color.. so suitable for spring!! :)

LavenDear over Ripple Effect:

I'll admit it.. I love this glitter!!  I love everything about it!  Lynnderella describes LavenDear as: "A blend of lavender multi-sized hexagons and squares with a touch of holographic pink in a sheer pink-violet base with a hint of iridescent blue shimmer."  I know why I love this one... it's the PINK!!  I'm a pink lover and those subtle hints of pink totally make this polish amazing!  I'm so happy I picked this one!  Above pictures are two coats of LavenDear over Ripple Effect followed by one coat of gelous and one coat of Out the Door topcoat.  This glitter was so easy to apply and it really didn't need the coat of gelous as LavenDear wasn't very gritty.

These colors both put me in the mood for spring!!  They're gorgeous.

You can buy Lynderella's polishes on Llarowe's site for $15 each.  They sell out fast, so keep checking back and maybe you'll snag a few :)

Dollish Polish.. Love Me Tender and Love is a Battlefield

Happy Saturday Everyone!  No Skeptical Saturday Mani today.  I have too many Valentine's Day Manis and not enough time!!  Valentine's Days is Tuesday!!

Today I have two more colors to share with you from DOLLISH POLISH!  I'm slowly becoming obsessed with her frankens.  Love Me Tender and Love is a Battlefield were sold as a Love/Anti-Love Duo for Valentine's Day.  Love Me Tender is a soft girly pink for those of you who believe in true love and all the mushiness that is Valentine's Day.  Love is a Battlefield is a bold red with black glitter for those of you who've had your heart broken and detest everything Valentine's Day stands for...

Here is Love Me Tender:

Above pictures are three coats of Love Me Tender over one coat of Essie French Affair.  Love Me Tender has a sheer pink base with micro red red glitter and scattered medium silver hex glitter.  This one is so girly and dainty.  It's the perfect Valentine's Day Pink!

Here is Love is a Battlefield:

Above pictures are two coats of Love is a Battlefield over China Glaze Hey Sailor.  Love is a Battlefield is full of micro red glitter and medium black glitter in a clear base.  This polish reminds me of a broken heart, beautiful, but broken..  Both polishes have excellent formula and were pretty easy to work with.  I had to dig deep for the larger glitter in Love Me Tender, but it wasn't that big of a deal.

This duo currently is not in Dolly's Etsy Store.  I'm assuming it was just a LE release for Valentine's Day... but you're in luck because Dolly has tons of wonderful frankens..  just click here to shop now!!

Happy Weekend All and Happy 3rd Birthday to my adorable nephew, Jacob!! :)

Valentine Lady Bugs..

Happy Tuesday Everyone!!  Today I have some nail art to share with you.  Please keep in mind that I'm pretty sure this is my first attempt at nail art.  I saw this cute mani here at A Day In The Life Of Dollface.  Dolly did such a great job! (She makes awesome polish too...at her Etsy store called Dollish Polish.)  While searching youtube tutorials, I came across this awesome tutorial by Dolly for the exact mani I loved on her blog...so it was meant to be for me to attempt these cute Valentine's Lady Bugs:

Aww.. they're kinda cute, right?  I'm pretty impressed with myself.  Not too bad for my first real nail art attempt :)

Items used for this mani (L to R): Spoiled Hit The Brakes, black nail striper, NOPI  All Kendall-ed Up, OPI Alpine Snow, Bettina Onix, black nail art pen, and dotting tools
Make sure to take a look at Dolly's Tutorial.  I followed all her steps except I couldn't make the hearts very well with the nail art pen, so used the dotting tools.

Maybe I'll attempt another Valentine's Nail Art Mani.. this one was fun!! :)
