Indie Week continues with Candeo Colors and My Ten Friends

Ok, so I hadn't really planned on this week being "Indie Week", but I've swatched so many indies lately, I think I'll have enough to post for the entire week..  Yep, my "indie addiction" shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon ;)

I have two extremely gorgeous polishes to share with you today...Candeo Colors Smores and My Ten Friends Dirtball..

Candeo Colors Smores:

I have a deep love for chocolate brown polishes and I've had my eye on Smores for a while, so while I was browsing Llarowe's site, I decided to pick this one up along with a few others.  I have a zillion indies, but very few of them contain brown glitter.  Smores has brown hex, square, and micro glitter, white hex and scattered micro holo in a clear base.  I have one coat of Smores over OPI San Tan-tonio  followed by topcoat in the above pics.  I really love this combo!  It makes crave s'mores!!

*Candeo Colors can be purchased at Llarowe and candeocolors.com.  You can like Candeo Colors on facebook here.

Up next is Dirtball from My Ten Friends.  This brand is new to me and this polish is another gorgeous brown..

My Ten Friends Dirtball:

Whoa!  I'm totally in love with everything about this polish!!! Dirtball is such a gorgeous mix.. it has a brown base with beautiful turquoise, holo and brown glitters.  I haven't come across a formula and glitter ratio as perfect as Dirtball in....well.. EVER!!  It's just freaking amazing!!!  I only used two coats of Dirtball followed by one coat of topcoat in the above pictures.  I couldn't stop gazing at my nails while wearing this and I did not want to remove it!!  Dirtball gets 5 STARS from me!!

**You can purchase Dirtball and many other pretties from My Ten Friends here on Etsy.  Be sure to like My Ten Friends on facebook.  This is a fairly indie line and I predict great things from My Ten Friends!! :)

**Happy Tuesday Everyone!!**

Zoya Caitlin and Candeo Colors Mallard

Happy Friday Everyone!!  Today I have two beautiful polishes to share with you.  I've been meaning to wear Candeo Colors Mallard for a while now, but just couldn't decided on the right color to layer it over.  While looking through my Zoya drawer of polishes, Caitlin caught my eye... and, as it turns out, they're beautiful together.. First up is Zoya Caitlin alone..

Zoya Caitlin:

Zoya describes Caitlin as: "a smoky purple-tinged medium gray with a smooth, opaque finish."  I really like the purple hint to Caitlin.  It makes her stand out from all my other grays.  As with 99% of zoyas, Caitlin has a flawless formula.  Full opacity was reached with two coats.  Every time I wear a zoya, I'm reminded just how much I love them. I can't wait to see their next collection!!  Caitlin was so pretty, I almost didn't want to layer anything over her, but after a day, I applied Candeo Colors Mallard..

Candeo Colors Mallard over Zoya Caitlin:

Candeo Colors Mallard is described as having a "shimmery semi-sheer lilac base and is loaded with purple shimmer, silver, lime and green hex glitter."  I really like the lilac base mixed with the green.  Mallard is kinda like Caitlin in the aspect of just being a tad different from other indies to stand out.  I like this combo and received a lot of compliments while wearing it.  :)

**You can purchase Zoya Caitlin and other great colors here on zoya.com for $8 each.**
**Candeo Colors can be purchased here on their website.  Keep checking back because everything is sold out right now, but they re-stock often**

Candy Mani/Glitter Sandwich

Friday's here and I have a fun mani to share with you today.  Whether you call them a "Glitter Sandwich" or a "Candy Mani", either way.. they're fun!!  The concept is basically covering a glitter with a jelly-based polish so you can still see the glitter glistening through the jelly..

Candy Mani/Glitter Sandwich:
middle finger doesn't have the jelly finish here

For this mani I used Sally Hansen Smooth and Perfect "Air" as the base, Candeo Colors "Dive Bomb" as the glitter middle, and Essie "Marshmallow" as the jelly topcoat.

Have a wonderful weekend!!!

Candeo Colors Jellybean and Dolce

Hi Everyone!!  Here's another post with spring-y Easter colors.  These colors are from another Etsy Shop called  Candeo Colors.  So many new Indie shops keep popping up on Etsy and I love it!!

Candeo Colors Jellybean:

Jellybean is perfect for Easter... all those pastels mixed together look like a perfect design for a giant Easter egg!!  "Jellybean has a creamy yellow base with lime, pink and chartreuse shimmer.  Pink, purple and turquoise hex glitter is in the mix."  I love Jellybean.  Pictured above it two easy coats.  I love glitters that don't require underwear.  Jellybean has an awesome formula!

Candeo Colors Dolce:

Dolce is another beautiful glitter perfect for spring and Easter!!  "Dolce has a cotton candy pink base with dark pink shimmer and multiple sizes of white, holo purple, and silver hex glitter."  Of course, I love this one.. it's pink!!  It reminds me of Lex Cosmetics Tuilleries I just posted the other day.  Pictured above is three coats of Dolce (no underwear needed for this one, either)

**Keep checking CandeoColors' Etsy Shop.  They should re-open soon**
**You can also like Candeo Colors on facebook HERE!**

I'll be back tomorrow with one last Easter post!!
