Three Beauties from Girly Bits..

Hey Everyone!!  I'm back to start off the week with three new polishes from Girly Bits!!  The first two polishes are from the new Spring It On Me! Collection and the last polish is from The Concert Series of polishes...

Bachelor's Button:

Bachelor's Button is a gorgeous, I mean GORGEOUS cornflower blue holo!!  I'm in love with the blue base color (it's beautiful on it's own) and the holo-ness is "just right."  Each photo was taken in direct sunlight (except the third one).  The formula with Bachelor's Button is flawless...I used two coats with top coat in the above pictures.  This is one of my new favorite polishes for spring!!  (I just wish we had more sun here in Ohio!)

Emerald City:

Emerald City used in a "jelly sandwich" with OPI Which is Witch?

Emerald City is another beauty.  I've been waiting for a new "jelly" this spring and I've found an amazing one with Emerald City.  In the first three pictures, I used three coats of Emerald City alone.  The formula is perfect for a jelly, just the right consistency.  In the last picture, I applied two coats of Emerald City, one coat of OPI Which is Witch?, then another thin coat of Emerald City... a gorgeous jelly sandwich!! :)

Face the Music:

Face the Music is a sheer jelly-like neon green polish with black stars and hexes.  I love the depth of Face the Music.. you can see the stars and hexes "floating" through the layers. I used two generous coats.  This polish glows under blacklight, so it would be perfect to wear to a concert or night club.  I wore it in the tanning bed and it about blinded me lol.  Face the Music is part of "The Concert Series" of polishes Pam, the creator of Girly Bits, is making for each concert she attends this year.  This one is a tribute to Marianas Trench, Pam's favourite Canadian Band.

**I was so excited to have the opportunity to review these polishes from Girly Bits!!  Girly Bits was one of the first indie brands I owned.. Girly Bits.. Black Eyed Susan

Happy Weekend!!  Today I have an indie glitter I had been lemming for a while.  I participated in a Holiday Swap and the the lovely Amy from I'm Feeling Nail-Venturous had my name and gave me Black Eyed Susan by Girly Bits (along with tons of other gorgeous polishes)

Black Eyed Susan:

Black Eyed Susans are one of my favorite flowers, so I was drawn to this polish immediately.  The colors represent the flower PERFECTLY!!  Black Eyed Susan contains yellow square and hex glitter, green and brown hex glitter, and micro yellow and  holo glitter-- all in a clear base!!  I have one generous coat of Black Eyed Susan over Zoya Farah followed by top coat in the above pics.  The formula was great and the glitter ratio is perfect!!  I love Black Eyed Susan!!

Girly Bits.. Cosmic Ocean and Shift Happens..

Hey Guys.. I have another post from Girly Bits today...I'm really digging both polishes I have to share with you.  Pam really has outdone herself with these two gorgeous colors..

First up is Cosmic Ocean over Revlon Royal:

Cosmic Ocean is a beautiful sheer blueish greenish layering polish.  I love this duochrome! Over Revlon Royal, you can see the green a bit more vividly.  The shifts from blue to green were a bit hard to capture, but in real life, this polish is constantly changing in different lighting.  I will have to try Cosmic Ocean over a deep green or black base next time.  It's so pretty.  Above is two coats.

Ahhh... I saved the best for last... Shift Happens...............

Shift Happens:

OK, so this one may be the coolest polish ever!!  Shift Happens (such a cute name) is an awesome multichrome polish that shifts from red, to green, to yellow.. maybe there's a little orange and gold in there too! Ahhh... amazing.  I layered two coats of Shift Happens over Bettina Onix and the results are so gorgeous!!  I'm so glad I ordered a large bottle of this one!!

Girly Bits.. Hippity Hop, Promise Me and Magically Delicious

Happy Monday Everyone!  I hope you all enjoyed your weekend.  I was busy swatching during much of the daylight hours, especially on Sunday because it was sunny and nice!  :)

Today I have three polishes to share with you from Girly Bits' Calendar Girls Collection.

First up is Hippity Hop:

Pam describes Hippity Hop as: "multi colored pastel and holo glitter, and tiny purple glitter in a translucent sparkling purple base."  I really like this "pinpoint" type glitter.. it's unique to anything I own.  Hippity Hop is such a pretty "Easter" glitter.  It's very versatile and can be worn over various colors as well as on it's own with three generous coats.

Next up is Promise Me:

Promise Me is: "holographic and opalescent hex glitter, and pin point holo glitter, floating in a sparkling pink base."  This one is beautiful also.. The glitter reminds of the glitter in Hippity Hop.  This is such a pretty pink and this one could be work alone also with three coats. (Pam named this polish after her daughter who will be releasing a song entitled "Promise Me).

Lastly is Magically Delicious:

Magically Delicious is described as: "tiny green holographic glitter, in a clear base, along with gold squares and gold hex glitter."  I love this one!! It my favorite of the three..  I really like the large square glitter and I was amazed how easily this one was to apply.  I really didn't have to "fish" to get the larger glitter like you have to with some!  Magically Delicious is sooo perfect for St. Patrick's Day and I think I've found a wonderful combo with Gaga For Green!!  :)

Girly Bits...

I ordered a few polishes from a fellow blogger a few weeks back and I just had to show you all how gorgeous they are.  These 3 polishes are from the Sea's the Day Collection by Girly Bits.

First up is Stormy Skies..

This color reminds me of a periwinkle crayon... That was always my favorite color in that big ole 64 count Crayola box!!  I really like Stormy Skies.  It's filled with tiny goldish-green glitter.  I should have applied it as a topcoat over a darker color so you could see the shimmer better.

Next up is Denim Diva..

I adore this color.  It's so smooth and shiny!  This is 3 coats of Denim Diva.

I planned on applying Stormy Skies on Denim Diva for one of these pictures, but Denim Diva should not be covered as she shines too beautifully on her own!!

Last, but not least is Razzle Dazzle..

I really need a gallon of this glitter madness!!!  There are tons of multi-colored glitter in a dark pink base.  This polish is my favorite out of the 3 I ordered from Girly Bits.

Razzle Dazzle was so smooth (for a glitter) to apply and surprisingly easy to remove. (Although I didn't want to take it off!)
