China Glaze Holiday Joy 2012

Happy Wednesday!!  I have four colors from China Glaze's Holiday Joy Collection to share with you today.

"The holiday season: it is truly the most wonderful time of the year – for nails!  From gorgeous glitters to rich crèmes, ‘tis the season to add sparkle and shine to any manicure and pedicure.  Celebrate the season in colour with the new China Glaze® Holiday Joy collection!"

Winter Holly:

Winter Holly contains micro fine forest green & gold and scattered holo glitter in a clear base.  I used three coats in the above pics followed by two generous coats of topcoat to smooth out the grittiness.  Winter Holly is very pretty, especially if you catch it in sunlight!  This is truly a "Christmas Glitter"-- very sparkly and festive.

Blue Bells Ring:

Blue Bells Ring looks much lighter and silver-toned in the bottle (at least mine does).  On the nail, it becomes a gorgeous deep blue shimmery foil.  The formula is absolutely amazing.. it's a one-coater!!  I think I may have a dupe or two of this one from last season, but it's still a great color if you own nothing like it!

Merry Berry:

Merry Berry is a stunning berry creme with a shimmery finish.  It's highly pigmented yet you can still see visible nail line after two coats.  Merry Berry's formula isn't as thick as most cremes.  I like this one.. it's just not extraordinary though.  It didn't stain like a lot of reds this highly pigmented, so that was a plus.

Pizzazz:

I have two coats of Pizzazz over Merry Berry and Blue Bells Ring followed by topcoat in the above pictures.  Pizzazz is your classic multi-colored glitter in a clear base.  It has a great formula and glitter ratio, it's just not unique.  I definitely like it better over Merry Berry.. the glitter seems to stand out a bit more.

**I like all four polishes I've posted.  Winter Holly is definitely my favorite..I own nothing like it and it's such a fantastic holiday color.  All the others are pretty with great formula, they're just not "unique", but that's OK because a lot of you don't own tons of polish like I do, so they may be unique to you.**
