KBShimmer Fall Collection 2013

Hiya Everybody!!  Today I have an absolutely gorgeous Fall Collection to share with you from KBShimmer!!  Each of these polishes is so unique and so perfect for autumn.. I just love them all!!  If I mention top coat is used, it's KBShimmer's own Clearly on Top fast drying top coat (which is my current fave-- seriously, it's awesome!!)  On to the collection...

You Autumn Know:

You Autumn Know is such a perfect Fall color!!  This polish was inspired by the first snow of the year covering the leaves.  You Autumn Know is a white crelly that contains orange, purple and yellow hex glitters and small bar glitters in the same colors.  I used three coats followed by top coat... awesome formula!!

Every Nook & Cranberry:

Every Nook & Cranberry is a satin matte berry pink polish with pink, gold and bluish shimmer.  I love a matte finish & a great formula and Every Nook & Cranberry has BOTH!!  I LOVE this color, especially with my skintone!!  I used just two coats in the above pics... wonderful opacity with this one!!

Turbulence:

Turbulence is the other polish in this collection with a satin matte finish.  It's a gorgeous light charcoal grey that contains blue, pink and silver flakes.  This one has the same awesome formula as Every Nook & Cranberry.  Once again, I only used two coats.

Teal Another Tail:

Ok, I'm not gonna lie.. In the bottle, I was just kinda "meh" about Teal Another Tail, but once on my nails.... YOWZA... it's so gorgeous and so deep!!  It has a light turquoise base and strong shimmers in  pink (almost a duo chrome shimmer).  The finish is a little gritty, but after a generous coat of top coat, everything is smooth.  Pictured above is two coats on Teal Another Tail followed by top coat.

Vicious Circles:

Vicious Circles is my personal favorite from this collection!  It's such a gorgeous red-almost-pink jelly that contains silver holo circles, silver holo hex glitter and silver holo micro slices.  I used three thin coats of Vicious Circles followed by top coat.  Simply amazing!!

You Go Ghoul!:

Yay!!  You Go Ghoul! is a perfect Halloween polish!!!  It's a thicker black jelly that contains purple, pink and orange glitters in various shapes and sizes.  I used three coats of You Go Ghoul! followed by top coat in the above three coats.

Excuse Me, I Blurped:

Excuse Me, I Blurped is a blue-purple that wears much more blue on me.  It wasn't easy for me to capture a great picture of this one because the reflection from the light seems to cover the depth of the glitters.  Most of the glitters in Excuse Me, I Blurped are pink and blue with just a hint of gold.  I used three thin coats followed by top coat.  This one had absolutely NO staining, which was really impressive with a blue this rich.

KBShimmer 5 Year Anniversary Celebration Duo

Hi Guys..  Today I have two super pretty polishes from KBShimmer.  These two were created in celebration of five years in business for KBShimmer.  I absolutely love KBShimmer.. all their products are spectacular-- the lip balms, lotions, cuticle oil, soaps... along with their polishes and other products.  I HIGHLY recommend any product from KBShimmer!!  On to the celebration duo..

The Grape Beyond:

The Grape Beyond is a dusty purple polish containing subtle blue shimmer and it dries matte.  It's so pretty!!  I really love matte finishes and this one is gorgeous!!  The formula is perfect.  I used two coats of The Grape Beyond in the above pictures.

Clearly on Top over The Grape Beyond:

Nine times out of ten, I'll eventually add top coat to any polishes that has a matte finish.  I love how top coat brings out all the hidden glitters or flecks or whatever the polish may contain.  KBShimmer makes a fast-drying top coat called Clearly On Top and it's my current favorite top coat.  Be sure to add one to your cart the next time you're shopping on their sight..you won't regret it!!

Would Jubilee It? over The Grape Beyond:

Christy, the creator of KBShimmer added all her favorite glitters to Would Jubilee It?  It contains circles, hex and micro glitters in turquoise, silver, fuchsia, and aqua.  I used one generous coat of Would Jubilee It? over The Grape Beyond followed by Clearly On Top.  The base of The Grape Beyond is just the right color to show off all the beautiful glitter in Would Jubilee It?

Hey Everyone!!  Happy Weekend!!  Today I have three polishes from KBShimmer's Summer 2013 Collection!  Each of these polishes are extremely gorgeous and sooo fitting for summertime!!  Let's take a look...

Don't Pink Twice:

I love Don't Pink Twice!!!  It's a gorgeous neon pink polish that dries matte and has subtle shimmer.  Pinks are my weakness, so I knew I'd love this one the moment I laid eyes on it.  The formula is incredible... it practically applied itself!  I used two coats of Don't Pink Twice in the above pics, and added top coat for some shine in the photo below.  Gorgeous!!

What's Your Damage?

What's Your Damage? is a white crelly containing neon pink & green and black glitter.  This one also has an awesome formula..  I used three coats followed by KBShimmer Clearly On Top top coat (my new favorite top coat).  This polish reminds me of the 80's.. it's so fun and soo summery!!

Totally Tubular:

Totally Tubular has a greenish blue base with fuchsia circle and hex glitter, indigo hex glitter, and smaller aqua circles.  I've never seen a crelly with this much pigmentation... the base is truly gorgeous and it applies extremely smoothly!  I love the larger fuchsia circles!  The color combo with Totally Tubular is beautiful.  Pictured above is two coats followed by top coat.

The summer lineup includes one glitter top coat, two glitter crellys in a white base and six bright, bold polishes, two in a matte finish.  KBShimmer will also be expanding their nail care line to include two scented cuticle oils and liquid nail prep. “Our new line was created to play off the bolder palette of summer, some inspired by the 80’s and 90s, but also to celebrate the patriotic season. What’s Your Damage? – White crelly polish with neon green, neon pink, and black glitters.

Don’t Pink Twice –Bright near magenta pink with subtle blue shimmer - matte

24 Carrot Bold –Orange red polish with gold shimmer - matte

Blinded By The Bright – Neon yellow polish with a scattering of hex glitters in the 6 primary and secondary colors

The Dancing Green –A almost neon green with blue undertones, accented by fuchsia, sapphire,  green and chartreuse glitters in different shapes and sizes

Totally Tubular – A blue-green crelly polish with fuchsia circle glitters in two sizes and fuchsia micro slices, aqua circle glitters and sapphire hex glitters.

Totally Razzical – A red-violet shade leaning towards the purple side of raspberry. Loaded with holographic hex glitters in magenta, silver and pink.

KBShimmer Spring 2013

Happy Wednesday Everyone!!  All these blog posts about spring have me in a great mood!!  This post includes three new polishes and a top coat from KBShimmer's Spring 2013 line.

Each of these polishes is topped off with KBShimmer's own top coat called "Clearly On Top."  I really love this topcoat and highly recommend it to top-off any manicure.  Here is a direct link to both sizes of Clearly On Top..15ml bottle is $5 and 7ml bottle is $3.  Great prices!!

Squared Away:

Oh, how I just love square glitter!!  Squared Away (cute name) is full of squares in various colors including metallics and holos in a clear base.  I layered just one perfect coat over China Glaze Dance Baby in the above three pictures.  I love the added shimmer in Squared Away, but I'm obsessed with the holo squares--they're stunning!!  (This mani is topped off with Clearly on Top).

I Got A Crush On Blue:

Holy Cow, this polish is AMAZING!!  I Got A Crush On Blue (another cute name) is a royal blue jelly with silver holo hex glitters ranging in size from small to extra large.  The formula was great.  With the first coat, I painted I Got A Crush On Blue like normal, but I dabbed the polish on a bit thicker with the second coat and maneuvered the glitters to the area I wanted each one.  I know some of you don't care for large glitter, but I really love the extra large hex glitter the most!  And, just look at that holo shine!  We didn't even have sun when I swatched this and it's still stunning!!  LOVE this one.  (One thick coat of Clearly On Top was applied).

Iris My Case:

Iris My Case is the third and final polish (with a clever name) from KBShimmer I have to share with you today.  It's a crelly!!  Yay!!  Iris My Case is a beautiful pastel purple crelly with pink, white, silver and blue glitters.  This is a smooth and subtle glitter and I just love this one too.  The formula was wonderful-- not too thick, not too thin-- just right!!  I used two coats in the above three photos and topped it off with Clearly On Top.
