A Slumber Party Water Marble

Hey Guys!!  Hope you're having a great Thursday!!  I have a quick post of a water marble I did a few days ago.  I just love the color combo in Lush Lacquer Slumber Party, so I created a water marble with matching colors...

Aren't the colors so pretty together??  There were five different colors used in this marble..  All OPI--Alpine Snow, Black Onyx, No Room For the Blues, A Grape Fit, and Shorts Story.  I struggled with the darn water bubbles again, but overall, I really like this marble :)

Slumber Party & Obligatory Xmas Polish

Happy Monday Kids!!  Yep, I'm still on an "Indie" roll!  I have two to share with you today.  These two are from Lush Lacquer and Tough As Nails Lacquer.  I've been swatching so many lately and both of these polishes are on my "Favorites" list.

Slumber Party by Lush Lacquer:

I had to have Slumber Party by Lush Lacquer as soon as I saw it swatched on Chalkboard Nails.  I love the color combo.. it contains matte pink squares, blue, purple, and black hex and small white glitter in a clear base.  (I think this color combo would make a great water marble!!).  I have two coats  of Slumber Party over Zoya Dove followed by topcoat in the above pics.
**You can purchase Lush Lacquer Polishes here on Etsy.

Obligatory Xmas Polish by Tough as Nails Lacquer:

Let me start off by saying.."I love EVERYTHING about Tough As Nails Lacquer!!"  I love the color combos, the formula, the bottle shape, the labels, the customer service.. just everything... including Obligatory Xmas Polish!!  This polish contains "a shimmering green base with various sizes and shades of green glitter, with "ornaments" of red, yellow, blue, purple, orange, pink, and white."  Obligatory Xmas Polish is my favorite Indie Christmas Polish so far!!  I have two coats of OXP over Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Green With Envy followed by topcoat.

"Obligatory Xmas Polish hates to be dragged to family holiday parties but somehow finds herself wear an ugly Christmas sweater, standing in the corner with a glass of eggnog in her hand, stuck in a conversation with creepy Uncle Fred. She can be found attempting to hide in the basement with her flask, spoiling gifts before they can be unwrapped by the kids, and drunk dialing her ex, who just so happened to break up with her two weeks before Christmas. Bastard."

Lush Lacquer Chubby Checker

My love for pink and black glitter grows stronger each day!!  :)  This gorgeous polish from Lush Lacquer intensifies this love <3

Lush Lacquer Chubby Checker over one coat of OPI Mod About You:

Gulp!  I love this!!  The only mistake I made was layering it over OPI Mod About You.  You can see how streaky Mod About You is (especially on my ring fingernail).  I should have just worn three coats of Chubby Checker on it's own instead of two coats over M.A.Y.    Chubby Checker has a light pink milky iridescent base packed full of different shapes and sizes of black and white glitter.  I really love how you can see the glitters through the milky base.  The formula was great.. the glitter did settle a bit, but after a few brisk shakes, all the glitter mixed perfectly. :)

**Chubby Checker and a bunch of other fun glitters can be purchased here on Lush Lacquer's Etsy shop for $8.75 (they have minis too)**

Happy Wednesday!!

Lush Lacquer Salt n' Peppa

It's Friday.. Yay!!  My laptop charger arrived yesterday, so all is well with me :)  I have another white and black indie to share with you today.  This one is called "Salt n' Peppa" by Lush Lacquer and I love everything about it!!

Lush Lacquer Salt n' Peppa over Color Club Pucci-licious:

Lush Lacquer  has to be a fairly new shop because it was easy for me to buy this one (and others).  I grabbed them now, because I have a feeling they'll be hard to get soon. I like the iridescent glitter that's added to Salt n' Peppa.. it makes it a tad different than other black and whites.

Salt n' Peppa over Color Club Twiggie:

I love both combos I chose to layer Salt n' Peppa over.  I used two quick coats over each polish.  You can purchase Salt n' Peppa as well as many other fun colors here at Lush Lacquer's Etsy shop.  I really love all their polishes!!

Have a wonderful Friday!!
