Dr.'s Remedy 2012: Step Into Summer-- swatches, review and a water marble!

Happy Thursday Everyone!  It feels weird typing that because it doesn't feel like Thursday to me.  Every time a holiday falls mid-week, I get all out of whack! ;)

I have three fun polishes to share with you today from Dr.'s Remedy 2012: Step Into Summer Collection.

Dr.’s REMEDY is a line of doctor-inspired cosmetics that is dedicated to using clean, hypo-allergenic ingredients.

 GRATEFUL Grape:
indoors- natural light

direct sunlight
The bottom photo is much more color-accurate.  Purples are so hard to photograph.  GRATEFUL Grape is a really pretty medium toned purple with just a hint of shimmer.  Pictured above is two coats.  Application was wonderful and the formula was fantastic.  I really like this shade of purple!!

HOPEFUL Hot Pink:
indoors- natural light

direct sunlight
Once again, the bottom photo is more color-accurate.  I think, if you follow my blog regularly, you already know what I have to say about this one!!  A Hot Pink Creme??  I love it!!  My favorite color and my favorite finish, plus it helps that this formula is superb!!  This is two coats.  HOPEFUL Hot Pink isn't too bright, nor too light.. it's the perfect medium pink creme.  This one is one of my favorite new colors for summer!!

YOUTHFUL Yellow:
Indoors- indirect light

direct sunlight
Ahh... a yellow.  Yellows are usually tough to work with.  They're usually streaky and require a zillion coats for full opacity.  YOUTHFUL Yellow is one of the easiest yellows I've worked with.  Yes, it streaks some and requires three coats for full opacity, but that's really great for yellow polishes.  I'm also surprised how well this looks against my skintone because yellows usually make my skin appear so pale (must be the tan I'm currently sporting).  :)  I have a feeling I will be using YOUTHFUL Yellow again and again in my water marbles and other nail art.

"Step Into Summer" Water Marble:

Before I even received these polishes, I knew I'd do a water marble with them.  All three colors worked perfectly together!!  This marble screams:  "SUMMER!!"

**I highly recommend all three polishes from Dr.'s Remedy 2012: Step Into Summer Collection.**

    1. I tend to like plain cremes, so the subtle shimmer is perfect for me, but yeah, I can see where shimmer-lovers would want more :) thank you for the compliment on the marble :)
