BK Matte Polishes

Happy Weekend! Here is a quick post of two matte polishes I received from Born Pretty.  I love a good matte polish, so I jumped at the chance to review a couple.. (and of course, I chose pink and red)  :)

BK Red Matte #12:

Not gonna lie, I was skeptical about this brand.  I had never heard of it before, but I was pleasantly surprised with the results!  Some "larger brand" mattes are really hard to work with because they dry too quickly, before you can even finish application.  With theses BK Mattes, that's not the case... they take longer to dry, so you can take your time with application.  I really love this cherry red color and I like how it doesn't dry "completely matte."  You can still see a bit of shimmer.  Above is two coats of BK Nail Polish #12 and here is the direct link to this one.

BK Pink Matte #7:

This one is pretty too.  Application was easy and I really love the finish!  There is just a hint of a purplish shimmer if you look closely.  This is two coats of BK Nail Polish #7 and here is the direct link to this one.
