Nostalgic Nail Lacquer.. New Wave Winter

Hey Everyone!!  Sorry for my absence the past couple days.  I've been busy with "holiday stuff."  Some people love this time of year, I just find it quite stressful..

Here are three polishes from Nostalgic Nail Lacquer's New Wave Winter Collection.  I really love this collection and was so excited to receive these three polishes to review.  I loved New Wave Music way back when!  I still listen to these songs today.  (Anyone play Songpop?  "New Wave" is totally my favorite category lol)  On to the polishes..

Mad World, Rock Me Amadeus, and Girls On Film
Mad World:

Holy. Mother. Of. Glitter.  Mad World should be called "Everything but the Kitchen Sink"!!!  It contains a hundred different glitters (and growing says Erin of Nostalgic).  Each bottle is unique, so I thought that was pretty cool.  Even though this glitter topper is so extremely "busy", I love it!!  It's so much fun!!  You'll find a surprise with each stroke of the brush!!  I was impressed with the formula too.. with so much glitter, you may think Mad World would be think and goopy, but it wasn't.  I used two coats of Mad World over China Glaze Sweet Hook followed by topcoat in the above pictures.

Rock Me Amadeus:

Rock Me Amadeus has a white crelly (creamy jelly) base with a gorgeous glitter combo.  It contains purple, aqua, maroon and black glitters (square and hex).  I really like the larger black hex glitters..they're just the right mix with the smaller glitter.  I used three coats of Rock Me Amadeus followed by topcoat, but I'm sure you could use one or two coats over a white creme base, too.  Again, excellent formula and glitter ratio.

Girls On Film:

Of course I love Girls On Film.. it's pink!!  and purple too!!  The crelly base is such a pretty bubble gum pink color!  The base is so pretty, so I'm glad this one isn't overloaded with glitter.  There's just the right amount of hot pink and purple glitter added to the base. (My personal favorites are the hot pink squares).  Girls On Film has the same great formula as Rock Me Amadeus.  I have three coats followed by topcoat in the above pictures.

**Nostalgic Nail Lacquer is an indie brand that's been around a while, so I'm never hesitant to purchase anything from Erin at Nostalgic.  She knows her stuff and I know she'll "make it right" IF you do have a problem with her product.  If you haven't purchased any Nostalgic Polishes, I suggest you do so now. :)**
