Zoya Ornate Holiday Winter 2012/13

Whoa... there's a new collection from Zoya that's completely amazing!!  I'm talking about The Ornate Holiday Winter 2012/13 Collection!!  Each polish is a beautiful jewel tone with excellent pigmentation.

Ziv:
Ziv

Ziv
Zoya describes Ziv as: "A full coverage yellow-toned metallic gold foil with silver highlights and warm gold flake glitter accents."   I really like Ziv although warm tones don't mesh well with my skin.  Ziv's formula is excellent.  I have two coats in the above pictures.
As soon as I saw Ziv in the bottle, I knew I had to grab my bottle of OPI Goldeneye and do a comparison shot..
Left- Zoya Ziv, Right- OPI Goldeneye
They're close, but Ziv's formula blows Goldeneye's out of the water.  I have two coats of each polish in the above pic.  Ziv is more yellow and Goldeneye is more gold.  Ziv is denser and prettier, in my opinion.

Blaze:
Blaze

Blaze
Zoya describes Blaze as: "A full coverage cool-toned medium mulberry red with a high concentration of fine diamond holographic glitter."  Blaze is the perfect deep berry red for my skintone!!  I just adore the tiny holo specks.. they give Blaze such deep dimension!  Once again, the formula is to die for.  Blaze practically applied itself.  Pictured above is two coats.

Electra:
Electra

Electra

One coat of Electra over Blaze
Zoya describes Electra as: "A micro fine diamond holographic glitter mixed with large silver holographic bar tinsel in a clear base."  Electra is the oddball of this group.  I like the larger holo bar tinsel and kinda wish the smaller glitter wasn't added.  Electra is just a little overwhelming and dense.  A thinner holo glitter topper would have been ideal for me, but I still like Electra.  She's unique and she's perfect for Christmas.. a tinsel-bomb on your fingers!!

Storm:
Storm

Storm
Zoya describes Storm as: "A full coverage, holiday black with a high concentration of micro fine diamond holographic glitter."  Storm is my favorite of this collection!  I love black bases with glitter and this one is like my dream-polish.  The formula is a dream, the color is a dream and there's just the right amount of glitter in Storm.  Storm can be worn dressy or casual.. she's so versatile!  I have two flawless coats of Storm in the pictures above.

Aurora:
Aurora

Aurora
Zoya describes Aurora as: "A full coverage, medium sugarplum purple flecked with a high concentration of micro fine diamond holographic glitter."  Aurora has almost a jelly finish. I used two coats for the above pics, but in sunlight you can see I should have added a thin third coat.  I love how the holo particles just seem to "swim" around in Aurora.  Aurora looks almost pink in sunlight and I love pinks, so this one is a favorite also.

Logan:
Logan

Logan
Zoya describes Logan as: "A full coverage, yellow-toned forest green with dense, foil-like yellow-gold and blue-green duochrome shimmer."  I love the blue undertones in Logan.  When I applied the first coat, it totally looked blue.  After two coats, you have a perfect forest green color and the hints of gold and blue are really beautiful.  This is a great holiday green that's not your traditional "Christmas Tree Green."  So festive and chic!!

**I love so much about Zoya's Ornate Collection!!  I love how each color is so versatile.. you can mix and match them all!  I love how Zoya chose colors that aren't your traditional Christmas Reds or Greens.  Zoya stepped out of their comfort zone with this collection and it really paid off because I haven't seen a collection as beautiful as this in a long time!!!  Yay Zoya.. you rocked it with this one!!**
