Wonder Beauty Products- The Tornado Alley Collection

-Press Sample
Hey Guys!!  Happy Fall!  This is my first autumn post!  As much as as I hate to say good-bye to summer, I really do enjoy the beautiful colors of fall!  Let's hope the warm temps stick around a while-- the weather here in Ohio has been beautiful thus far.
Today I have five polishes that make up The Tornado Alley Collection from Wonder Beauty Products.  This collection is so clever and I just love the names of each polish..  Let's take a look:

Funnel Cloud:

Funnel Cloud is a semi-sheer light blue/gray chromatic polish with scattered copper glitter.  The shimmer and shine with Funnel Cloud is beautiful.  I used three coats followed by top coat in the above three pictures.

Vortex:

Each polish in The Tornado Alley Collection has the same copper glitter.  Vortex has a gorgeous dusty teal chromatic base.  I really like this base color paired with the copper glitters.  I used three coats followed by top coat.

Stormchaser:

Stormchaser has the same formula as the first two-- it's opaque in 3 coats.  Stormchaser has a dusty lavender chromatic base with the same copper glitters.  The base color is so pretty with this one!

F5 The Motherload:

F5 The Motherload is my personal favorite from this collection.  It has the same copper glitters as the other polishes, but it also contains tiny silver holo glitter.. all in a chromatic almost-black sheer base.  You'll need three coats for full opacity.

Doom & Gloom:

Doom & Gloom contains a deep navy blue chromatic base with copper glitters.  This one looks so pretty in direct sunlight!!  Once again, three coats plus top coat and you're good to go.

SoFlaJo Black Mamba:

Jody, the creator of SoFlaJo Polishes always hits the nail on the head with her creations.  I really love Black Mamba!!  It's an ideal Halloween shade with it's thick black jelly base and green and scattered holographic glitters.  I used two coats of Black Mamba followed by top coat in the above photos.  Black Mamba has an excellent formula and is such a perfect Halloween color!!!

OPI Designer Series- Pewter and Lapis new for Fall 2013

-Press Sample
Hey Everyone!!  Long time, no see.  I apologize for the lack of posts lately.  I've been extremely busy.  Today I have two gorgeous, slightly textured, matte polishes to share with you from OPI's Designer Series... Pewter and Lapis.

This fall, OPI adds DS Raw Granite, two new granite-inspired hues.... – DS Pewter and DS Lapis – to theDesigner Series by OPI collection. Featuring a matte textured finish with mineral-like reflections, each Designer Series Raw Granite lacquer formula offers subtle sheen with a sparkle finish.

OPI DS Pewter:

OPI DS Pewter has a gorgeous charcoal gray base with silver and black glitters.  DS Pewter dries matte and slightly textured (not nearly as gritty as the Liquid Sands)  I used two coats of DS Pewter in the above pics.  Use a top coat if you'd like a shiny, richer finish.

OPI DS Lapis:

direct sunlight
OPI DS Lapis is such an amazing polish, I had to add an extra pic ;)!!  I really do love rich royal blues like DS Lapis!!  This one could almost pass for a Liquid Sand.. you can see how textured it is in the photos.  This sapphire blue dries matte and contains tiny glitters in blue and silver.  I used two coats of DS Lapis. (Be patient when removing both polishes... they're a bit of a pain to get off, but soo worth it!)

Designer Series by OPI nail lacquer shades each feature OPI’s exclusive ProWide™ Brush for the ultimate in application.  DS Raw Granite lacquers should be worn without top coat for a matte finish.  DS Pewterand DS Lapis will be available beginning September 2013 at professional salons, including Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard’s, jcp Salons, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, ULTA and ulta.com for $12.50 ($14.95 CAN) suggested retail for each nail lacquer.

Zoya Satins for Fall 2013

-Press Sample
Hey Guys!!  Here are six more gorgeous polishes for fall from ZOYA!!  These six belong to the new Satins Collection which are beautiful metallics!!  Let's take a look:

Mason:

direct sun

Zoya describes Mason as: "an exciting red violet or "Fandango Pink" metallic".  Mason is extremely mesmerizing!  It has such depth and a striking blue shimmer.  It's great for someone who's a pink or red lover (like myself).  Love Mason!  Pictured above is two coats.

Maria Luisa over Mason:

Zoya describes Maria Luisa as: "a gold cellophane accent topper."  Maria Luisa will dress up any polish with it's gorgeous gold flakes.  I really like it over Mason.  I used one generous coat of Maria Luisa followed by top coat.

Giovanna:

Zoya describes Giovanna as: "a stunning emerald green metallic."  Emerald is the "IT color" right now, as we all know.. lol.  I almost said Mason was my favorite from this collection, but Giovanna just barely wins.  This color is amazing!  I'm wearing her on my toes now and I can't stop looking at them.  Step out of your comfort zone and try a beautiful emerald like Giovanna.  This one is a tad sheer, so I used three coats.

Maria Luisa over Giovanna:

I wanted to show you Maria Luisa over a couple different colors.  I like her over Giovanna.  Again, I used one generous coat followed by top coat.

Neve:

Zoya describes Neve as: "a sapphire blue metallic."  Ah, Neve is the perfect color for September. (Sapphire is September's birthstone).  This blue is so rich and shiny.. another gorgeous color from the Satins!!  The formula is perfect.. I used two coats of Neve.

Channing:

direct sun

Zoya describes Channing as: "a rusty or coppery red metallic."  I just posted Channing on my Instagram and had to admit that even though I'm not a huge fan of coppers, I really like Channing.  I think it's the strong red tones that make Channing different from other coppers, although she looks more orange in sunlight.  Channing is a chameleon and I really like her!  I used two coats.

Claudine:

direct sun
Zoya describes Claudine as: "a striking dark meteorite gray metallic."  I just love gray metallics, so Claudine is easily another favorite for me.  I kinda wish she had a bit more depth like Mason with maybe turquoise specks or something, but she's gorgeous nonetheless.  I used two coats of Claudine in the above pics.

**Zoya Satins are currently available HERE for $8 each.**
